The venue of AMTS is Hungexpo. Visitors arriving by car have several parking options available. We would like to inform our Visitors that the parking facilities are not operated by the AMTS organizers, and AMTS has no responsibility for or influence over parking matters. For any parking-related questions, complaints, pricing or payment information, Visitors should contact Hungexpo directly.

Hungexpo’s own parking facilities

The following visitor parking areas are available on and directly around the Hungexpo site:

• the entire southern side of Albertirsai Road
• the parking area on the Kincsem Park side
• P1 visitor parking (next to Expo Hotel)
• P4 visitor parking (at Gate 4)
• P6 visitor parking (at Gate 7)

The daily parking fee in these parking areas is uniformly HUF 5,000 (gross). Please note that only daily parking tickets are available in these parking areas; hourly parking is not possible.

ATTENTION! New parking regulations in internal parking areas

We would like to inform our visitors that from March 2024, the parking regulations have changed for the internal barrier-controlled parking areas (P1, P4) at Hungexpo. Upon entry, the barrier opens automatically, however no parking ticket is issued to the visitor.

Parking tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices and HelloPay points. When exiting, the QR code on the parking ticket must be scanned in order for the barrier to open and allow the vehicle to leave.

Please make sure to purchase your parking ticket at the reception buildings or at the HelloPay points located on the site.

Hungexpo Gold Parking

Since 2022, Hungexpo has offered a new service for visitors to make access to the exhibition even more convenient and faster. On the renewed Hungexpo site, GOLD parking tickets are available for purchase at a price of HUF 15,000 (gross) / day. GOLD parking tickets are available only with a valid event admission ticket. A short walk can save you a lot of time

Walk a little and gain a lot – with your online ticket you can enter through the gates in seconds, while driving around the area during the event can sometimes be time-consuming. Here are a few tips on how you can save time and money.

In the wider vicinity of Hungexpo and in the surrounding streets, there are several parking options, some of them even free of charge. With a comfortable 10–15 minute walk, or by parking further away and using Metro Line 2 or bus line 10, you can reach the venue within minutes. You can find more information here.

Please note that Hungexpo parking areas usually fill up quickly during AMTS, therefore – especially for those arriving after 12–13:00 on weekends – we recommend choosing more distant parking options. Albertirsai Road tends to become congested during events; spend that time at the show instead ;)

Visitors arriving by car are strongly advised to use traffic monitoring applications such as Waze or Google Maps.

Tip 1: P+R parking near Hungexpo

P+R parking facilities along Kerepesi Road offer all-day parking passes from as low as HUF 1,540. Access from here is also easy, either by a short walk or by taking bus line 10.

Tip 2: parking in nearby streets

On the opposite side of Kerepesi Road from Hungexpo, you may find free parking options in public parking areas of nearby streets. From there – depending on distance – you can reach Hungexpo with a 12–15 minute walk or by catching bus line 10 on Kerepesi Road.

Tip 3: come on Friday!

Arrive on March 13rd, the first day of AMTS, as all displayed vehicles are already available to view and the main programs are the same. In fact, almost all premieres take place on this day. Based on years of experience, Friday has the lowest visitor numbers, allowing you to enjoy the event with significantly less crowd and more predictable parking than on the weekend.
